ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister House has received the report of the Judicial Commission on alleged rigging in 2013 general elections, citing a spokesperson ARY News reported on Thursday.
A Spokesperson of the PM House has said that a team of legal experts will brief Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the inquiry commission’s report in a meeting today.
The report will be released on the website of the Ministry of Law and Justice, the spokesperson added.
A three-member Judicial Commission headed by Chief Justice of Supreme Court Nasirul Mulk had completed its hearing earlier this month.
The inquiry commission constituted to probe the allegations of rigging in the 2013 general elections has submitted its report to the government through the Ministry of Law and Justice, media reports earlier said.
The PML-N leaders claiming that the commission had rejected all allegations of organised rigging in the polls levelled by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).
